I have some database updates within a flow, but do not want any database exceptions to stop processing of the message. If any exceptions occur, I just want the message to continue going on its merry little way through the rest of the flow. I have unchecked the 'Treat Warnings as Error' and 'Throw Exception on database error' checkboxes, I have turned the 'Transaction Mode' to off on the input node, but an exception is still being thrown. I was under the assumption that WMQI would just ignore any database errors if you had the 'Throw Exception on database error' box unchecked, but that does not seem to be the case. What can I do to ignore any database exception?

Hi,

Some database errors are seen to be Recoverable and some are not recoverable. What error are you receiving in this case?

Thanks.

There are 2 errors in particular that I have noticed this happening on. One was the database connection had timed out, so when the next message came in, WMQI had no connection to the database. The message would fail and WMQI would re-establish its connection. All subsequent message would be successful. The other was I would intentionally enter in a bad DSN in order to get an execption thrown. I guess these would be of the irrecoverable kind? I suppose I can just wire the failure terminal of the database node up directly to the same node that the out terminal is wired too, since the flow doesnt need to be transactional.
