Has anyone used the SendMailPlugIn on MQSi 2.0.2 on NT or Windows 2000? I have it installed, but can't seem to get it to run. Any tips on how to make that work would be appreciated.

Bill,
Configure the plug-in node as mentioned in the Doc. you should have access to your mail server, then only it works. if you have any questions shoot me.

It seems that the error message I get in the Application Log (NT Event Viewer) when I attempt to send an XML through a flow with a SendMailPlugIn node is the following, which doesn't show up as an error, but as an informational message:
"The description for Event ID (0) in Source (MQSIv201) could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s): ZYTECH01.default."
So you know, ZYTECH01 is the MQSi broker name and default is the Execution Group.
The one problem I had was that the reference guide you provided only includes instructions for installation with MQSi 2.0.1. With 2.0.2, it seems like you must use the Create PlugIn node wizard, which asks for information not included in the document. |
