If I have a message defined in my message set as MRM CWF for the following cobol structure:

15 TH10-SEND-DATE.
20 TH10-SEND-DTD-CC PIC X(02).
20 TH10-SEND-DTD-YY PIC X(02).
20 TH10-SEND-DTD-MM PIC X(02).
20 TH10-SEND-DTD-DD PIC X(02).

Is it possible to just map to 15 TH10-SEND-DATE in my ESQL and not the children?

When I try it I get a parsing error saying it can't find TH10-SEND-DTD-CC

Hi,

I have never gotten it to work. You have to move the lowest level fields. Group moves are not recognized. You can change the messageset to reflect 15 TH10-SEND-DATE pic x(08). and remove the 20 levels. I am at WMQI 2.1 csd 4. I don't know if later versions allow this or not.
