The MQCCDTURL environment variable introduced in IBM MQ V9.0.0 allows you to host a CCDT on a webserver and address it with it's URL.
Has anyone successfully done this with an https URL? How?

The docs say only a file, ftp, or http URL, so I don't think it will support https. What happened when you tried it?

For https, did your client specify a truststore containing the trustchain for the https server? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Indeed, I suspect it doesn't either, however, given that you can encode a user id and password into the URL, I would expect most websites doing so would also require https?
When I tried I got:-
Code: |
AMQ9795E: The client channel definition could not be retrieved from its URL,
error code (23).
EXPLANATION:
The client channel definition location was specified as URL
'https://.....', however the file could not be retrieved from this location.
The error returned was (23) 'SSL connect error'. The protocol specific response
code was (0). |

I have tried putting the certificate for the https server in my key database file as a trusted certificate, but I had no idea if it was actually going to even look there!
That's the kind of information I was looking for. How did you do that exactly? If you have had it working, do please share how.
Cheers,
