Hi All,
I have following queries, can anyone please clarify
1. Can we restrict no of hits per day for a service using workload management?
2. We can set max instances for a flow up to 256, is it means max TPS is 256?
3. While creating a policy in web user interface I can see the option to set max rate (TPS) 10L, If I set max rate 10L and additional Instance is 1 what will happen, is the flow will support 10L hits per seconds using single instance?
Thanks
Regards,
Manoj |

1. What does the Knowledge Center topic say?
2. No. Max instances is the number of threads allocated to the flow. It has nothing to do with the number of transactions per second.
3. The rate limiting works the same way regardless of how many instances(threads) are allocated to the flow. 10L means 10L. |

'Max requests per day' is not workload management - it's API management. If you need that sort of control, I would recommend that you put API Connect in front of the service. |
