Hi,

I have WMQI2.1 installed on AIX. How do i check, which CSD am in on? searched for the memo.ptf but couldn't find it. The command lslpp - l|grep wmqi shows 2.1.0.4

Does it mean that i am on CSD04? Which of it gives you the correct info.
Also, wanted to know, what are the steps i should take before i apply CSD05. Is there any document that explains it.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Vishal Agrawal

I think it means you are on CSD6.

I reckon it means you are on CSD03. (I think there was a CSD0 that would have been 2.1.0.1.)

Check /usr/opt/wmqi/readmes/level.txt for the definitive answer.

The readme with the CSD you are about to appy should give you all the info you need for applying it.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies.
The level.txt would show me,
S210-L20822_P (Packaged on Fri 30 Aug 09:00:25 2002). What does this mean? How do u identify what level of CSD are u running?
Btw, the most recent CSD level for WMQI is CSD05. IBM has not released CSD06 for WMQI. Atleast they don't have it on their support page.

Cheers,
Vishal

Given the date I would say that this does not have any CSD's installed. However since lslpp -l shows different, maybe my advice earlier was not generally applicable, but for info one of our boxes shows

level.txt - S210-CSD04_P
lslpp -l| grep wmqi - 2.1.0.5

Cheers,
Vicky
