Hi Guys,
When I'm trying to open topology control center is giving this BIP0014E error. I found one document on IBM which suggests to remove all the directories and files under the directory <mqsi_root>\Tool\Repository\Private\
Can anybody suggest me the consequences of this. I'm giving the link to IBM document.

Thank you

No consequence other than you'll have to reload your flows and message sets into your workspace if I recall the last time I did this.

Thank you for your quik answer.
I did that now I have a new problem.
My predecessors copied the message flows and they didn't change the names of the flows instead they loaded them into different categories. Now all my categories are gone. I'm left with same name for multiple flows. I don't know which one is assigned to which broker. Do you have any idea how to solve this puzzle(like any id no to relate the msg flow to the broker).

Thank you

Sorry, i guess I should have said make a backup first before deleting. I haven't messed with categories for a long time. Based on my testing so far it looks like the categories are for the workspace and as such are not stored in the configuration database. I could be wrong here, so hopefully someone else to confirm or deny what I am saying.

Categories are merely decorative.

Right now I'm not worrying about categories. I want to find out which message flow is belonged to which broker. Since I have same name for two or three message flows I want to find out a way which one is assigned to a particular broker. Hope I explained the problem clearly.

You can try to rename the two flows. The one that is assigned to the execution group will give you a warning message like 'The resource <name of the execution group> is not checked out'.

Hmm, I would think the operation tab would show which flow has been assigned to which broker for that execution group within the broker.

Maybe I am missing something in your explaination.

I'm working with WMQI v2.1. If you try to rename a flow (not subflow) that is assigned to an execution group and this execution group is not check out, it gives you a warning message. So you could know which flow is assigned to an execution group.

Sorry if this information is not useful for you.

Cheers

This just happened to me too the BIP0014.
When I connected to the machine nothing was working there was messages in the mq queues and obviously the broker was not working at all.

After restarting everything, this error has popped up twice.
I dont understand why it does not pop up all the time..

Thanks for the advice and the link...I think this will solve my prob..

Best regards
Erik
