Greeting !!!
We have QREP SDR channel connecting to distributed platform RCVR channels.
Yesterday , We have reboot activity on distributed platform system. After the activity, all the QREP SDR channel are in RETRY status with CSQX477E error in CHIN log.
I have restarted( Stopped and started ) channel and they came to RUNNING status.
Not sure why all the are in RETRY status . Could you please suggest on it.

I would suggest you read the description of the CSQX477E error, then see what your mainframe people have to say about the disposition of the QSG when the distributed servers were rebooted. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

The channels would have gone into RETRY when they discovered the connection to the distributed platform system was lost. The CSQX477E message suggests that something else (in addition to CHINIT retry processing) was trying to start them up and the two channel start-ups clashed.
Cheers,
