i am getting below error when i am trying to establish a Parent Chile Relationship between 2 Qmgrs
Parent QMGR : QMA
Chile QMGR: QMB
AMQ5965: Pub/sub hierarchy disconnected.
EXPLANATION:
A pub/sub hierarchy connection has ended with child or parent queue manager
'QMA.
ACTION:
None.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AMQ5977: Establishing publish/subscribe hierarchy relationship.
EXPLANATION:
Establishing a publish/subscribe hierarchy relationship with child or parent
queue manager 'QMA'. An exchange of information is required with the other
queue manager. Once the exchange is complete informational message AMQ5964 will
be written. This exchange requires active channels to and from the other queue
manager.
ACTION:
If the relationship is not correctly established check for the correct
configuration and state of the channels to and from the other queue manager. |

Display the SDR-RCVR channels between parent and child? Between child and parent?

Yes, sender and receiver channel are running. xmitqs have the same name as the target qmgr |

Any messages on the DLQ, that are security related? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

i have updated the parent in my qmgr already but this parent child relationship never worked.
I have not checked the dead letter queue for any security messages. |

I follow the second approach of setting direct channels with the xmitQ having the same name as the target QMGR. |

yes, they are triggered. i followed the ibm instructions in a sequence but still getting the same error. |

There are messages but they are old messages related to some application which got decommissioned. |
