This seems to happen randomly. DISPLAY USAGE TYPE(ALL) is issued and the CSQI070I message comes out and says it cannot find the "Log, oldest with active unit of work:" It shows me the RBA, and that RBA is in the range of the current ACTIVE log.
One thing that seems to be a coincidence is that when the DISPLAY USAGE TYPE(ALL) command is issued, it is right when CSQJ002I comes out and the ACTIVE log switches.

Go to google. Search for the error message CSQI070I. You will find this: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PK40919 and other hits. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

The information that IBM provides for the message id CSQI070I, tells me nothing. The APAR you provided, I had already looked at. That APAR is for when a STOP QMGR command is issued, and was identified as an issue in v6. I am running v8. |

Your coincidence seems all to suggestive. Seems that they could do with some better locking around this DISPLAY command. Suggest you raise a PMR with IBM.

Perhaps if you had included more information in your original post (OP) about your version of MQ, and what research and/or testing you had done, or whether you had contacted IBM, or ... we could have offered you more help. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Have you opened a PMR with IBM, as Ms. Hughson suggested? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
