How can i determine if MQ FTE is installed and/or running in my MQ 8 installation? As far as i know it was not chosen as an option during installation. I received a software report telling me that the following was installed:
IBM IBM WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer Agent 8
IBM IBM WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer Service 8
But i don't see any indication other than the /opt/mqm/mqft directory

To be pedantic, FTE v7.0 is a stand-alone product that was replaced by MFT and incorporated into the MQ product bundles. The install location and layout of the config / logs directories changed.
On Linux, try rpm -qa | grep -i mq
There are several different MQ MFT components that can be installed _________________ Glenn
