Hello there
Does anyone know if hostname is defined somewhere in BKDB database ?
My problem is that I need to recreate day to day Broker from another platform. I think about replication between two environment...
If I can export from an environment and recreate with an import elsewhere, I'm sure that it will be received very well by our team
Any clue ?

Just to clarify my question and project :
I need to duplicate a broker with another name and wonder if thoses actions can help :
1. Backup original BKDB database,
2. Create a new database and Restore original backup inthere,
3. Create broker using mqsicreate broker and another Queue Manager
4. Start the new broker.
Here I go ?

Brokers have unique id's. When you create a new broker, it gets a new unique id.
All the entries in the broker database are tied to that unique id. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Create a new broker, register it with the same configuration manager, re-deploy all your flows and message sets.
There's a chapter in the Administration guide about backup and recovery. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
