That's OK Glenn. I appreciate that there are many reasons why companies don't buy in tools. I guess I was just venting a little. If companies don't want to buy in tools that is perfectly fine and entirely their choice. I was just pointing out that they often get an inferior solution at, in many cases, a higher overall price. _________________ Paul Clarke

Management seem to only look at the current financial year, and be completely blinkered to cost / benefit /risk pay-offs over 5 to 10+ years (the useful lifetime of most operational tooling). Managers usually move on by then, absolving them of questionable decision making in the past. _________________ Glenn |
