Hi Guys,
Need some suggestions to make the HTTP / SOAP web service calls configurable in IIB.
Use Case :- If you have a system A which is exposing the n numbers of web services ( Both REST & SOAP ) where you have the domain name as static for one environment say production. Now lets say System has moved to another server so their domain name has changed from http:// xyz. service. com to http :// xyz1 . service . com , now in order to make calls work you are required to change the domain name of each flows manually by either changing in the flow or if you have made them UDP , change at runtime .
Is there any way we can make this domain name as configurable so that we can change at one place only ?
One I can think of is by making a procedure which will do lookup in DB and store url in shared variable which can be called from esql.
You should also be able to use mqsiapplybaroverride to populate the url field with the new value before redeploy.... _________________ MQ & Broker admin
