Hi,
We are trying to call a web service hosted on Windows P8 (filenet) server from IIB code running on z/Linux server. The webservice should respond back with a response and a pdf attachment. We are getting the response back from the webservice but the pdf attachment is missing in the response back to IIB.
If we call the same webservice using SoapUI, we are getting the response back with attachment and we are also getting the response and attachment when we call the webservice from z/Linux WAS.
We opened a PMR with IBM and sent the TCP dump logs from both IIB (failure) and WAS (success) to compare and here is their analysis but no solution is given to us...Is there anything we might be missing?
"The IIB tcptrace.out shows the IIB connection under TCP stream 15 (in Wireshark, set the filter to "tcp.stream eq 15"). You can see no MTOM attachment.
In the WAS tcptrace.out, there are no MTOM requests being made. You can search both traces for the MTOM keywords and find they do not appear in the WAS trace but are present in IIB trace. Keywords are "MIMEBoundary" and "xop" (in Wireshark, set the filter to "data contains "xop"" [xop needs to be in double quotes]).
In the same manner, you can search for the request by searching for the service name, ECSWebService. If you look at the request from IIB, it is formatted as expected. When you search for the same in WAS trace, you don't see anything that looks like a backend web service request.
Since WAS is not using MTOM, you don't have the issue. " |
