When we try to upgrade our IIB installation from v9.0.0.3 to v10.0.0.7 we are getting the following error message in the system logs: A broken connection to WebSphere MQ queue manager has been reported with WebSphere MQ reason code '2568'.
This error message causes the integration server to restart continually.

We are on mq version 7.5.0.7.
Any idea what can cause this problem?
Connection not available.... Are you sure that the corresponding MQ manager is up and running?? _________________ MQ & Broker admin

Is the IIB 10 Master service running?
Is it running under the correct user?
Is this an upgrade of the existing Broker?
Does the various mqsi???? commands report correct information?
