Hi,
Is there any utility available to monitor all the incoming and outgoing connections to/from IIB over TCP/IP?
I am polling a SFTP server in every 30 minutes, but the SFTP server is seeing a new connection request in every 7-8 seconds. Please assist.
OS: RedHat Linux 6.8
Software: IIB 10.0.0.2 _________________ Thanks and Warm Regards

What are the properties on the fileinput node?
What are the properties on the ftp configurable service?
What does netstat say? _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

Yes. Your network team will have one that they use. Ask them to point it at your IIB estate. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Thanks mqjeff and Vitor for your reply.
The FileInput node property is set to poll in every 30 minutes from remote SFTP server. I did not set anything in configurable service.
I took IIB system trace today. It is showing that IIB is attempting connection and disconnecting in every 5-6 seconds. Please suggest. _________________ Thanks and Warm Regards

I remember an APAR on this. Try applying the latest fixpack and see if the problem goes away.
Also best to use FTP configurable service definition to hold these values.
