Hi All,
I'm looking for IIB v9 developer Edition for AIX. The only ones I could find are for Linux and Windows. Does IBM provide IIB v9 developer for AIX?

That would be ... odd... if you were.
The developer edition is designed to run on your development workstation (not a server) and allow you to do development using a local broker...

And no, the Developer Edition is only provided for Windows and Linux, the only OS on which normal people do development.
(To forestall the obvious comments from certain members of this community, I'm normal and have certificates from a number of doctors to that effect).
I've never seen AIX for Workstations, and would worry that my meds had stopped working if I did. That's like z/OS for Intel. Code developed on Windows or any of the supported Linux distros can be deployed and run on an AIX-hosted broker without issue or modification.

| What if I tell you that we are going to procure an advanced license at a later point of time, but for now, we would like to go ahead with the build. I understand the question was a bit crazy, but no one ever thinks before putting up words... |

It wasn't crazy (that's Vitor's job). It was just confusing.
There is a free 30-day IIB on the Cloud trial. That would maybe help you get used to the notion of deploying to a server not on your development machine.

Then I would tell you (again) that the Developer Edition is not available for AIX and performing a build before you've got budget to purchase the license you'll need is as crazy as both the question & z/OS for Workstations. Aside from the legal ramifications of installing IBM software without a license, what kind of management agrees to installing software before they know what it will cost? And if you've done the PVU calculation, pay the money and install the advanced edition.

And no-one installs IBM software without a license. I've met the legal team responsible for enforcing IBM's intellectual property rights; their dorsal fins are huge....
