We are on MQ 75 using SDR chl to send a 500K messages (20K size) messages to a qmgr in remote location (another company). They now want us to distribute the messages we send to one more Qmgr. I know that we can do this easily using clustering where messages can just round robin between the 2 target qmgrs. But clustering between 2 companies Qmgr is not considered for this case. So the only option is SDR channels (one to each of the target Qmgr). However my understanding is XMITQ are not shared between SDR chls unless it is changed with the latest MQ version. The sender application is only output to one Q name (now is the remote Q pointing to the 1st Qmgr).
Any suggestion on how we can do this ? |

A transmission queues is bound to one channel at a time. The SENDER channel explicitly names the transmission queue it will take messages from. That queue is MQOPENed for exclusive control. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
