Try news.software.ibm.com and look for groups that start with ibm.software.websphere. I can't say that I've ever looked at them myself.....

Is it accepted practice to use "Websphere" to mean "Websphere Application Server"?

Because there are *lots* of products that have Websphere in the name these days. I'm still waiting for "Websphere Rational Linux" myself.

I hate to admit it, but I use WebSphere to mean the App Server. Most of the people that I work with do as well. I know that I should know better....

i was actually helping someone who works with was(app server). i have adviced them to post their quetions on mqseries.net. the ibm usergroup does not seem to be active and userfriendly.
