Hi All,
I have the following scenario
AIX system with DB2 6.1 Enterprise Edition installed on it.
Windows NT with MQSeries 5.2, MQSI 2.0.2 installed on it(No DB2 on this system)
I want to create the databases required for the configuration manager and message repository manager and the broker on the AIX System. Also i want to run configuration manager, and the broker, and control center on windows NT System.
I am not quiet sure if this kind of scenario would exist or not. but i just want to give it a trial if possible. but again not sure on how to proceed with.
Can someone let me know what all settings i have to do to support such a scenario and have my control center work properly? I also want to access the data in the database from my compute node.
Thank you so much for your help,
Sincerely
Paruvan |

First you need to create ODBC connections on Windows machine to DB2 databases located on AIX platform. After you setup ODBC connections to your Config Mgr, MRM and Broker databases, you can then run mqsicreatexxxx.. commands to create your ConfigMgr, Broker and UNS (optional).
Within your message flow, you will use User Database DSN to connect to your user database in your compute node. _________________ Kiran
