Hello,
We are currently using WMB 8.0.0.6 on AIX with the same version of toolkit on Windows. During security audit/scan, it is found that some java debug service is running on a specific port in one of the environment.
It is that port on an execution group in DEV environment where debugger was attached using that port. Even after un deploying all codes from that execution group, the service is still found to run. netstat -an command shows something is listening on that port. Either from history, or from the running service, toolkit still gives the option to Launch Debugger on that port. I have tried mqsichangetrace command with none option, but that does not help.
Would you please guide how to find the debugger service to stop completely?

Have you tried setting the debug port to 0 on the offending execution group? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Thanks fjb, martin for your reply, but how I can set it to 0 because when I tried through toolkit, its accepting value between 1 and 65535.
Then I used mqsichangeproperties command to change the value to 0.
Through toolkit, I can see it is set to 0 and it says that Debug port is not set.
However, when I checked through netstat command, it still says that a service is listening on that port. So, how to completely disable the debug?
Thanks in advance for your help. |

A restart of the EG is normally required here.
you have changed the config but it won't take effect until the next restart. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
