You have two types of connections: server connection and the client connection.
Client connections are defined in the node attributes, configurable services and last but not least policies.
Server connection is defined at the broker level when assigning a queue manager to the broker.

WMB is just another MQ application, as far as MQ is concerned. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

In case when MQ is not mandatory (IIB v10) for IIB installation and operation, I believed all necessary configuration is stored in File system. Even with IIB v10 if we associate a MQ Queue Manager while creating a IIB node, will it use the Queue Manager and store all the SYSTEM queues as earlier or it would continue to use file system for its operation. Similar question would be there for Pub-Sub.
I know I have not done research on IIB info center yet, sorry for that. |
