Hi All,
I am new to this forum.
Migrated a WMB flow to IIB v9. The main flow has many subflows. Resolved the "unable to locate subflow" error by right click on the subflow node -> locate subflow approach. Deployed it to local integration node.
During the unit testing faced a strange issue. Message processing was getting repeated from a particular subflow in the middle of the main flow. Thinking that it could be an issue with the link between the flows. I removed that subflow and re-attached it to the main flow. To my surprise it completed successfully. I was not sure whether I can rely on this approach because I am not testing all the scenarios in local as I dont have sufficient test cases. My main concern here is that what if this re-occur for other scenarios in production.
Do I have to do the same for other subflows as well?
What fix pack of IIBv9 are you running?
There are several subflow APARs that affect earlier IIBv9 fix packs that can cause the flows to end up incorrectly wired when deployed.
@Maurito,
Yes agree with you that this migrated service has to be tested with sufficient test cases and mostly during the end-to-end testing we would try to ensure that all the scenarios are tested. But in real time there is a chance to miss out a certain scenarios. To me this seems to be an IIB internal failure. I am trying to find the logical reason for it.
@Stoney,
We are using IIB toolkit fixpack "FP02"(9.0.0-IIT-WINIA32-FP0002). IIB runtime version is "9.0.0.0".
My IIB runtime is 32 bit. Toolkit and MQ explorer are 64-bit versions. Is this fine?
