Hello All,

I have a requirement that file is be read from location "A" and after some processing need to be placed at location "B". Again after some processing same file at location "B" need to be placed at location "C". Deleting files from other locations. This has to be done in single MessageFlow.

I guess that the 'Designer' wanted you to use FTP as well but was persuaded that it was not a good idea?

Ok, I'm joking but to be honest, this design is from the 1980's not the latter part of the 2010's.
What happens when you get an error in the second part? Do you want to roll everytnig back to the beginning?

Why a single message flow? Is there some restriction or what?

If you search for a post entitled, 'And the requirement is' you may get some ideas as to why this design is bad and frankly out of the arc.

I think it's easy enough to construct a single message flow that uses the right combination of FileOutput and FileRead.

And even easier to construct the same flow that just does all the transformations without going to and from the file system.

And then performance numbers of both solutions should clearly demonstrate which is the better idea....
