Dear Team,
Can you guys suggest me on which element of localEnvironment, I can populate the Configurable Service name for TCPIPClientOutput node and TCPIPClientInput Node
I am successful in sending Host-name and Port number, but couldn't send the Configurable service.
Suggest !!

Why can you not send the configurable service in the Local Environment?. What makes you think it is possible? |

Thanks for reply..
This is the information from Info center..
But I couldn't find an option to send to Configurable service name .. I tried sending Configurable service name into Hostname , port etc. bbut failed
Location in local environment Description
$LocalEnvironment/Destination/TCPIP/Output/Hostname The host name used to make a connection.
$LocalEnvironment/Destination/TCPIP/Output/Port The port number used to make a connection.
$LocalEnvironment/Destination/TCPIP/Output/Id The ID of the socket being used. This value is an internal identifier used by IBM Integration Bus to uniquely identify a connection.
$LocalEnvironment/Destination/TCPIP/Output/ReplyId The Reply ID that has been stored on this connection. It can be any text string.
$LocalEnvironment/Destination/TCPIP/Output/Timeout The timeout value used when sending data to the TCP/IP client connection. This value overrides the Timeout sending a data record property specified on the node. |

so, I will ask again:
What makes you think it is possible? |

If you cannot work it out from the documentation and the answers you already have, you can raise a PMR with IBM. |

Hi 547c547,
Configurable service should be set at the node level and I do not think they are to be sent as part of any headers. The ID field in the header is not for configurable service at all. I think it is for the port where TCP device is connected or something. I do not seem to recall what was set when I worked with it sometime back.
In general, configurable service contains the connection details thereby avoiding you to manually configure end points(and related settings) at the node level and changing them for every environment. Setting a configurable service gives you the flexibility to move things arnd quick without rebuilding and deploying the flow.
Maurito has a reason to be because you have not read the documentation and what they mean. How abt you rephrase again by putting information on what you think ID holds and what is the value you see when you have a req come thro TCPCLientInput node? _________________ A Colorblind man may appear disadvantaged but he always sees more than just colors... |
