Is there a way to display the location of the MQ Log directory that is in qm.ini? I looked at v8 dspmqinf. This would have seemed the perfect approach with the -s parm. It only supports QueueManager and does not display the log directory. Is the only option to get the install directory and mine for qm.ini?
You mine for qm.ini by using dspmqinf.
In a non traditional install or multi-instance it will tell you where to find the qm.ini. In the qm.ini you will then find the path to the logs. _________________ MQ & Broker admin
yeah, I pretty much said that's what I was going to do. Was wondering if there was an easier way. Thanks. They should have added this as an option for 'stanza' on the dspmqinf command.
Well if you are on Windows you can always look at the AMQMDAIN command and its parameters. I believe if you set the parameters right you should be able to retrieve the logs location. Alas that works only on windows and not on the rest of distributed... _________________ MQ & Broker admin
