On windows server, i have changed WebSphere MQ service to automatic but the Qmgr is not getting started automatic when system reboot.

There are TWO settings to consider.

The first is the MQ Service. That seems to have been setup as Automatic.

The seconds is the Queue Manager itself.
This allows you to control which QMGRS get started at Boot.

In MQExplorer look at the properties of the Queue Manager. (Select QMGR, right click)

You can see the startup options for the QMGR in the panel. Set as appropriate, hit apply and you are done.

and remember that depending on MQ Version and OS you may need an APAR for an automatic start... (version <7.5.0.3 and Windows server)
