Hi,
I am new in MQ, my company is trying to build a system using MQ8 and installing FTE agent in customers machines to send and receive files, my manager wanted me to start doing some researches on how to save metadata from fte agents, I will appreciate if someone know about the subject and if pymqi is good for this.
Thanks. |

Did you do a google search for 'How to save MQ FTE metadata'? What did you find? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Yes I did google it, I found something called "Apache Ant", because I am newbie, I just want first to understand how we can collect metadada from lot of other machines that have fte agents :
should we write a script in each customer machine running an fte agent ?
OR
we can write for example a python program pointing or listening to all the customer machines fte agents ? |

Make sure you talk to your IBM rep. about licensing for this type of setup and who is responsible for payment of any fees.

I notice this returns a software vendor who's name begins with MQA. I think this is something like what the OP needs. _________________ Glenn |

Hi gbaddeley
I use MQAttach for any MQ MFT functionality. |
