Hi all,
Been a while since I've posted on here
I'm experiencing a problem with using a FileInput node in a subflow. I'm promoting all of the "retry" properties so they're available to the msgflow which will be using the subflow.
The issue is that the promoted property values are being ignored and the actual values used at runtime are the defaults which existed on the FileInput node subflow when the properties were promoted ( specifically the retry threshold and retry interval properties ).
I've tried defining the subflow in a static library, a shared library and also in the same application as the using msgflow. All with the same result, the promoted* retry interval/threshold values are ignored.
* as in the values specified in the msgflow
Toolkit 10.0.0.2 on Win7, IIB 10.0.0.2 on RedHat linux.
Anyone else had similar issues ?
Thanks.
Edit: Tried the same thing in WMB 7 and that behaved as I expected with the promoted property values in the msgflow used.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

As an update, this has been confirmed as a product defect and the labs are working on a fix. |
