Hi,
We are planning to install WMQI 2.1 on AIX version 5.2.
Wanted to know if DB2 version 7.1 is compatible('cause it's bundled with the software) Or what version of DB2 or oracle is recommended( along with Fix packs).
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,

Wanted to find out which version of Oracle is supported on AIX version 5.2 and is compatible with WMQI version 2.1.
Since there are compatibilty issues, wanted to make sure we have the right version installed?
If somebody can point out, the link to the compatibility matrix, it would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,

Craig,
Thanks for the URL . But it speaks only abt the version of DB2 which is compatible with WMQI 2.1/ AIX version 5.2 and not Oracle.
Is somebody using Oracle as the database for the Broker domain?
Which version of Oracle is supported with AIX version 5.2 and also compatible with WMQI 2.1?
Cheers,
Vishal |

Hi,
This web page does include information relating to Oracle databases. However, support for AIX V5.2 with WMQI V2.1 has only just become available. At this moment in time, the only tested and supported combination is with DB2. At some point in the future lifecycle testing should be performed with versions of Oracle and Sybase, and when these are complete, these pages will be updated to reflect this. _________________ Regards
