Hi All,

I have a requirement where my IIB flow should be able to parse any International Character that comes in.

The source system is a UI from where I can enter the input data and my IIB v10 beta flow receives it over https. The message type is JSON.

Whenever I enter an International character in one of the fields it throws the error 'Unconvertible character' ' JSON parsing error'.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you checked that the input JSON conforms to the JSON RFC?
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc4627.txt
Specifically, does it follow all of the rules in sections 2.5 and 3?

Please provide the following information
- the Unicode encoding of the input JSON document ( UTF-8 / UTF-16... )
- the CCSID that is specified on the input node
- list any steps that you have taken to diagnose this problem yourself

As background, IIB is able to handle all Unicode characters in any encoding, so this is not a product limitation. It could be a configuration error in your flow, or it may be that the UI is not constructing the JSON correctly.
