Hi All,

I have requirement to capture WTX map audit logs from IBM Integration Bus. I have tested sample scenario in Windows environment and got audit logs, where as if I recreate same scenario AIX environment audit logs are not populated from WTX node.

Can anyone please advise on the same?

Thanks in advance.

how about telling us what you did on both systems?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Well for the both the environments I would like to change map settings from WTX node itself, so I have enabled audit in WTX node level and audit disabled in mmc file level and which is successfully working in Windows environment but it's not working in AIX environment.

Are you really sure you need a WTX node?

The DFDL parser and the mapping node can handle anything you need to do with WTX.

Unless you're using one of the prebuilt solutions IBM supplies as a series of WTX maps, IIB flows, et al.

Yes mqjeff, I need to use WTX node. In existing system already have number of complex maps, for that I should use WTX node. Apart of that requirement I need to capture audit logs.

Check with your IBM rep. They are gradually being converted to DFDL as well.

The days of WTX are number'ed.......

Speaking entirely personally, the big use case for WTX that remains is not the parsing, but the modeling & validation of complex, multi-format messages such as X12 where the possible values of the second field in the third record are controlled by the bit switches in the fifth field of the ninth record, or the third field in the seventh record if there's no ninth record and/or the record is processed within three days of a full moon.

Sure you can write code that does that. But WTX possesses dark magic, mad skills and does it pseudo-automagically.
