You can start the channel-initiator manually with the runmqchi control command or the START CHINIT mqsc command. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

However before you do that, you might want to check with your friendly MQ Admin. There are ways to start the queue manager without those processes at start up and it is most likely that the queue manager is up but not set up to process work... If that is the case, the admin will recycle the queue manager when the maintenance work is completed...
