If both my full repositories are at 5.3 CSD3, and I want to get them to CSD4, would it be safe to:
1.) Issue SUSPEND QMGR CLUSTER(MyClusterName) MODE(FORCE)
2.) Manually stop any CLUSSNDRs or CLUSRCVRS still running coming in or out of this queue manager.
3.) Stop the queue manager and apply CSD4, then restart the queue manager.
4.) RESUME QMGR CLUSTER(MyClusterName)
5.) Worry that my full repositories are at different CSD levels.
6.) Repeat steps 1 thru 4 for the other full repository.
7.) Do the partial repositories at any old time in the future.
Is #5 a valid concern, or not really with only a CSD difference? (I wouldn't dare do it with a version diff of say 5.2 to 5.3.)
Are steps #1 and #4 necessary, or will #2 take care of it? _________________ Peter Potkay

I suppose it depends on what CSD4 actually addresses...
I tried to find CSD4 on IBM's site, but apparently the layout for Websphere MQ has changed... Anyone know where these are listed? _________________ Brandon Duncan

I contacted IBM on this and they said Full Repositories can be at different CSD levels and even at different base MQ versions. _________________ Peter Potkay
