V8.0.0.4 is available now as a fixpack. It will also be available as a consolidated manufacturing refresh install image. |

That's good news. Looks like time for us to migrate to v8 - I've not been that keen on it before now.
Does IIB v9 support MQ v8?

IIBv9 does support MQv8, but you need to be at fix pack 2 or later. |

MQ 8.0.0.4 gives the MQ Admin the ability to control expiry at the MQ queue level!
MQ 8.0.0.4 no longer requires an install of the MQ Client just to get a few files, and officially supports bundling the MQ Client files with your app.
