Hi All,
I am creating DFDL which is fixed length record oriented.

Following is the record.

VEGA 2370LEOS, BLANCA 915-612-1176
VEGA 2371GAYTAN, MONICA 915-612-6883866-263-0828
VEGA 2372BENA ÖZTIN-M&E 902324887318(+90)23225195
VEGA 2373ESRA ERTEN-M&E 902324887284(+90)23225195

First record is digit 6
2nd is 3
3rd is 18
4th is 12
5th is 31

so it has only body..no header or trailer.

Please suggest.

NOte: Create DFDL with record oriented and no header /trailer only body with 5 elements.lengths are as given above .

While testing the DFDL it is throwing error-

16-Oct-2015 1:03:22 am fatal: CTDP3002E: Unexpected data found at offset '23832' after parsing completed. Data: '0x56...'.

What does the DFDL Trace say? If you have not looked at it yet, you are working with one hand tied behind your back

That means your DFDL model does not match the message that it is trying to parse.

Trace says-The DFDL serializer cannot output the character '?' in encoding 'WINDOWS-1252' for the value of element 'EKTEL'.

The record->>>> VEGA 2372BENA ÖZTIN-M&E 902324887318(+90)23225195

Contains special character so this is not able to parse the data.

Your first error was from the DFDL parser.
This error is from the DFDL serializer.

Which error do you want help with?
