all,

I am making a financial service which will post fund transfer in core banking solution, do balance iquiry and mini statement etc..

is there any standard available for making financial transaction on WEBSERVICE? i read about the XBRL and IFX but what is the practice on IIB of having these type of services on webservice.

should i better write my own wsdl?

If you want the transaction to be reliable and cope with volumes without failures - use MQ not the unreliable http (s) protocol.

This single piece of advice will make your system fit for purpose. Of course the actual content of the message can be whatever you want.

You can't host a webservice without a wsdl.

You can use either SOAP/HTTP or SOAP/JMS. SOAP/JMS lets you use MQ as the transport.

You should talk to senior developers on your team about these concepts.
