We are getting the below error when trying to start message broker. COuld some one help on this ? Seems like the file system got corrupted. Unfortunately we do not have a backup for message broker. could some one help to restore without losing the data if possible.
BIP2111E: Message broker internal error: diagnostic information 'ImbConfigStoreCacheItem::throwConfigStoreCacheItemGenericException() reported 'The last update time could not be extracted from the data file.' |

Google the error. I believe it's an easy fix. The date / timestamp information in one of your broker files got corrupted. There might be an APAR out for this...
And update to V10! V7.0 is out of support at the end of the month... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

We are moving to IIB by end of this year
We copied the brokeraag.dat file from lower environment and now the broker came up. but doesnt seem to have any deployed flows under the EGs.
How can we retreive the flow information? |

I *think* v7 has mqsibackupbroker?
Otherwise, you can't really retrieve the flow data.
You should have the bar files somewhere, so just create a new broker on the new machine with new EGs and then deploy the bar files. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

But.... have you backed it all up so that you don't get his again?
With V7 you have to stop the broker to run
mqsibackupbroker
but it is well worth it. _________________ WMQ User since 1999
