Hi,
We are using MB v8.0.0.4 on AIX. SAPRequest adapter posting IDocs to SAP and if the volume is more(daily 400k to 500k) and running for few days, sap adapter connections are receiving below error. When I checked in forums the environment variable:CPIC_MAX_CONV limitation at both MB and SAP OS level restricts the number of conversations. Can you please help me to understand what is the default value MB assigns if this variable not set.
LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode
ERROR max no of 202 conversations exceeded
TIME Wed Sep 2 17:16:09 2015
RELEASE 720
COMPONENT CPIC (TCP/IP) with Unicode
VERSION 3
RC 466
MODULE r3cpic_mt.c
LINE 14362
COUNTER 104
I must say 202 simultaneous conversation (RFC) with SAP? I am impressed...
Typically SAP regulates the max number by the number of threads available for RFC in the specified group of appservers... ( IIRC tran SM50, SM51 ?)
Wonder what you need 202 simultaneous RFC's for ??? _________________ MQ & Broker admin
We are using 5 adapter connections to post IDOCs to SAP message server. We are not sure where this count restirction comes from. SAP team said they are seeing 5 active connections.
When turn on trace I can see 202 count for one jco properties.
