Thank you very much for the clarifications, the same argument to place the file with the date of the folder mqsiarchive process was proposed, but not want to have this folder infraestructrua issues, |
You may not want that folder; you'll get that folder as soon as the FileOutput node starts!

however if nodes are used as JavaCompute and only consultation if the file exists before sending it to the destination you exit the Broker that danger may have with this process ?. |
You're opening a file handle to an external resource outside the control of the broker's software but inside the broker's JVM. I accept that it's not the most risky thing you can do, but there's still a risk, it's certainly not best practice and you need to be cognizant of that going into this as a design solution.
At the simplest, just because you can do something and it doesn't cause a problem doesn't mean it's a good idea and will never cause a problem. Best practice is to cut the power at the board before replacing the faceplate of a socket. It's perfectly possible to unscrew the plate, remove the wires and screw them into the new plate with the power on with the right level of skill and caution.
That doesn't mean you're never going to get a shock, or never short the circuit out. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Or if you're my father in law, change the blade on a table saw with the power connected. As he said, he'd done it a hundred times over the years and it takes longer to unplug the saw and plug it back up then it does to change the blade.
It would have sounded more convincing if he wasn't saying this to the ER doctor who was putting 37 stiches in his right arm, and who had taken pictures on his smart phone to prove in the break room later that this patient really had managed to do this without cutting any tendons, nerves or arteries.
My father in law was perfectly cognizant of the risks, and accepted them. For years (apparently) it had paid off.
Then it didn't. And there was such a lot of blood....... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I'll agree with "mad" certainly. I should have mentioned the man is legally blind and had no real business operating any kind of power tool.
I suppose that's what they mean by "blind luck". _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
