Also if FP8002 has been released by then, a demo with integration of MQLight and MQ would be nice... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

All,
I can ask IBM Hursley to do some sessions on it but there is no guarantee that they will do it.

There's a mad rush here - we just got funding approval!
Most of my team are going; one of the objectives is apparently to see if they can get me drunk enough to go down a water slide.
They can't, but they'll buy a lot of booze before they realize that... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

The Bats of a Feather page is up!
If you've been to or even heard of Def Con, you know the events there are legendary. Some people go just for the events, nearly all of which are independently organized. It is in this spirit that I'm organizing the Bats of a Feather session at MQTC which I hope will be a lot of fun.
Details are on the page linked above. Also, I'll be tracking the nominated talk titles at that page. Each day I'll collect tweets with the #MQTCBATS hashtag and copy them to the page. There's a Twitter widget showing all the tweets, including any pending ones. If you do not have Twitter I can take submissions via email or Facebook and will soon have a form on the page.
Shameless bribe to encourage participation: PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. As soon as Roger tells me what they are, he and/or I will post that info.
See you there! _________________ -- T.Rob

Okay, those are some cool prizes! Who wants one? At this point we don't have any entries so the first person to register gets their pick of prizes if nobody else signs up.
Missed the event announcement? Go here: https://t-rob.net/2015/08/25/mqtcbats15/
To enter, tweet your topic title with hashtag #MQTCBATS or email it to me at MQTCBATS@ioptconsulting.com and I'll post it.
I'm not eligible but if I were my real-life MQ horror stories might include:
• What's more likely? App bug or MQ bug? Oops.
• The road to Hell is paved with persistent messages
• It's impossible for this change to break something
• The message persisted but the on-call guy expired
What are yours?
