If you are asking "can the message that mq sends on the wire be in http format", then the answer is no. MQ uses its own format. If you are asking about sending messages through http proxies, look into SupportPac MS81 - MQ Internet Passthru. It has an option for forwarding requests in http format through a proxy.

If I am understanding your question correctly, you could do the following:
1. Some message arrives on a queue. To process this message, you need to make an HTTP request. The queue is triggered, so it launches an application when the message arrives.
2. The application retrieves the MQ message from the queue, and it makes an HTTP request.
3. It gets the result, and constructs an MQ reply message, which it puts on another queue.

Is this what you are trying to do?
