the customer sends MQ message to a generic port(let me say, the VIPA is ip1, port1). A sysplex distributor is listening on this.
When TCPIP SYN request is sent to sysplex distributor, it is going to pick up the MQ listener on LPAR1, I have questions on this:
1. once the connection is build up, will the TCPIP traffic is client -> sysplex distributor -> LPAR1, or it will be client -> LPAR1, that is to say, if the sysplex distributor still plays as router between client and LPAR1?
2. from customer perspective, can it detect the server side is LPAR1 or not? that is to say, from customer perspective, it is still ip1, port 1, or it is already ip of the LPAR1

It is my understanding that once the workload balancing decision is made, it looks as if you made the connection directly to that LPAR. I don't believe the SD acts as a router, and I believe it will look like the IP address of the LPAR to the remote system. This should be fairly easy for you to check once you have the system setup in this way.
Cheers
