Hi guys,
I am testing one scenario. If the target queue and dead letter queue is full what happens to the messages that are put. I was assuming that the channel will be down and the XmitQ retains the messages. But to my amazement channel is working fine and I couldn't see any messages on the XmitQ. What happend to the messages? I have both the queue managers on single machine. that has windows2000 OS.
Any ideas
Thank you

Are your messages persistent or not. Non-persistant ones will just be dropped.
Also, take a look at http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10420

Only if your NPMSPEED is set to FAST. Otherwise they should not be dropped.
