Dear members,

I want create a broker in one of our pre-prod env.
Already there was a broker BRKR1.
I want create BRKR2 similarly BRKR1.

could you please let me know how to create a new broker with exactly same as existing. Any commands would be really helpful.

OS : Linux
IIB 9

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Anil

How about
1) Extract the build scripts for the QMGR and Broker from Source control
2) Modify said scripts to use the new QMGR and Broker
3) Test
4) apply to pre-prod system
5) Check scripts back into Source control
6) Go home happy.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Use message broker explorer to help. When you display the configurable services (and some other things), it will show the command to re-create it.

Or you can export/import the CS definitions.

But to get a full list of changes, you will have to use the various mqsilist/show commands and work it out, unless you have kept records.

And please vote for this RFE for a way for all of us to easily compare Brokers, so when you think your work is done building the new Broker you can check and know your work is done.
