Hi,
I would believe Qpasa (our monitoring tool) would be using this Queue to populate accounting info
Typically, once it processes the accounting info, the messages should be removed but its not! would anyone know where would i be able to find the configuration where i can set the AccountInfo to REMOVE ?
This is what IBM Quotes on URL http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/OMXEMES701/com.ibm.omegamon.mes.doc_7.0.1/pdguide70132.htm

Look at the SYSTEM.ADMIN.ACCOUNTING.QUEUE queue and the SYSTEM.ADMIN.STATISTICS.QUEUE queue in the Queue Statistics workspace to determine if these queues are full. If REMOVE is specified for ACCOUNTINGINFO or STATISTICSINFO, messages are removed from the SYSTEM.ADMIN.ACCOUNTING.QUEUE and SYSTEM.ADMIN.STATISTICS.QUEUE when the data is processed. If BROWSE is specified, you must create a procedure to periodically clear these queues.

That "Remove" is an option for Tivoli. You need to find a Qpasa equivalent. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |

It is actually quite annoying that messages on these queues do not auto-expire and there is an RFE to provide such a feature in MQ.

It could be more than annoying if you do not put a cap on the depth _________________ Make three correct guesses consecutively and you will establish a reputation as an expert. ~ Laurence J. Peter |
