Hi all,
Trying to create broker from brkusr, got the following error, please help me
[brkusr@luspb2bsisbn01 ~]$ mqsicreatebroker BRK1 -q BRKQM
AMQ8110: WebSphere MQ queue manager already exists.
BIP8134E: Unable to alter WebSphere MQ Queue Manager 'BRKQM'.
This command attempts to alter a WebSphere MQ Queue Manager, the Queue Manager c ould not be altered.
Locate and resolve the problem and retry the command.
These are theversion details:
OS:
Linux luspb2bsisbn01 2.6.32-504.8.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Dec 19 12:09:25 EST 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
MQ version is 7.5.0.1
IIb version 9.0.0.1
added the brkusr and mqm user on both groups(mqm & mqbrkrs)
mqm:x:504:brkusr,mqm
mqbrkrs:x:505:brkusr,mqm |

run REFRESH SECURITY in the queue manager (runmqsc command) and retry...  _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

looks like the broker user is not part of mqm or does not have mqm authorization to alter the queue manager _________________ Regards

after running refresh security and before retrying did you logoff and log back in?
What is the output of id and groups?  _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
