I have two NT boxes on the same network, intensionally, the way I would like to have is make one box contains CM environment and the other box contains brokers environment. I used a sample command to create the configmgr but don't understand security option which was used in the sample. The command is:
mqsicreatedconfigmgr -i mqsiuid -a mqsipw -q MQSI_CONFIG_QM -d MQSISYS1 -n MQSICMDB -m MQSIMRDB
Could anyone explain to me what is -d option is for. Do I need to setup any special relationship between the boxes?
please help,
Thanks in advance |

Exactly I don't know what is that -d option.
But I have my config. manager on windows NT box and my brokers are on SunSolaris box. I didn't create any relationship bewtween them except the channels.
Why don't you omit that -d option and try.
Anybody has different ideas?

You can use -d option to specify Windows NT Security domain. Please take a look at Administration Guide (Chapter 6, Topic: Windows NT Security Domain Scenarios). _________________ Kiran
