Yesterday I posted the following blog article on the MQdev blog:

It describes a new MQ open beta, available for anyone to download and try without joining a managed beta programme. The beta demonstrates new MQ capability that allows you to attach MQ Light clients (or other AMQP 1.0 clients that use the MQ Light addressing model) to a queue manager.
To use the beta you need an existing MQ 8 FP 2 queue manager, so until fixpack 2 is released you can download the PDF and get to know how to install it and use it. We have a walk-through video going live soon which shows how to install and use the beta on Linux. I'll post an update to this once the video and other useful material is available.
We'd like to know what you think - that's the benefit of an open beta!
